The Oboe Group integrates innovative high quality systems to build warm, and spacious, energy efficient homes very fast. It accelerates the building process by merging the best of on-site and off-site construction. The Oboe group uses Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), mass timber, seismic resilient foundation systems, and high-performance windows and doors to deliver exceptional results with a low carbon impact and almost no construction waste.
The Group also markets its proprietary systems and subsystems including timber structural panels and glulam beams, foundations, windows and doors, and construction site amenity trailers to progressive architects, designers, contractors, and builders.
At Oboe, we liken construction to a symphony. The composer devises the score, then refines it for each section of the orchestra, until all the notes work in harmony. Each section knows their part and the music starts as soon as the orchestra tunes in to the A note of the Oboe.

Oboe Homes build warm, comfortable, and spacious houses that are close to net carbon zero in both construction and operation.
Oboe Construction
Oboe Construction brings together all the materials and supplies to allow a rapid and quality residential build including SIP panels, mass timber, external and internal cladding, windows, joinery, foundation components, and related building materials.
Oboe Windows
The selection of energy-efficient windows is a critical element in any new house build. Following an extensive world search and evaluation process Oboe Windows teamed with a European and a North American manufacturer to bring to the New Zealand market premium quality high-performance windows and doors.
Oboe Group lowers construction costs and significantly reduces building time through its use of sub-systems.
Oboe SIP Panels
Structual Insulated Panels (SIPs) construction is incredibly quick, the panels are robust, they can be cut with extreme accuracy and provide excellent insulation. SIPs used in Oboe group construction are manufactured by firms that meet Oboe’s high quality standards.
Oboe Mass Timber
Mass timber uses state-of-the-art technology to glue, nail or dowel wood products together in layers. The results are large, strong and highly versatile structural panels, posts and beams known as mass timber.
Oboe Foundations
Oboe has developed two foundation systems to protect against earthquakes and liquefaction. IsoQuake is a patented platform system that can achieve exceptionally fast construction–often ready within a couple of days.

Oboe believes that to build high-performance homes, architectural design needs to work hand in hand with structural engineering.
Oboe Building Materials and Logistics
Oboe has a proven ability to manage international and domestic sourcing of materials. Oboe arranges seamless movement from the manufacturer through freighting, customs, biosecurity, duties, code requirements, and internal transport to the construction site.
